HR Assistant – Payroll SupportPay: $20–$25/hour Schedule: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:00 PMPosition OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and organized HR Assistant to support payroll, recruiting, and day-to-day HR activities. This role will assist with APD payroll, job postings, candidate phone screens, job fairs, and other administrative HR functions.ResponsibilitiesAssist with processing and maintaining payroll using APD PayrollPost and maintain job openings on Indeed and other recruiting platformsReview applicants and conduct initial phone screensAssist with scheduling interviews and coordinating candidatesRepresent the company at job fairs and recruiting eventsMaintain accurate employee and recruiting recordsProvide general administrative support to the HR teamAssist with other HR and recruiting projects as neededQualifications & RequirementsPrevious experience in HR, payroll, recruiting, or administrative supportExperience with APD Payroll preferredComfortable using Indeed and online recruiting platformsStrong communication and organizational skillsProfessional and friendly phone mannerAbility to handle confidential information with discretionProficient with computers and Microsoft OfficeReliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple prioritiesPrevious recruiting or job fair experience is a plusEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER: Surge is an equal opportunity employer.
