DIGITAL MARKETING SEARCH SPECIALIST

Location: Dublin, OhioJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $48 - 53 per hourA Fortune 20 global healthcare leader and pharmaceutical distributor is seeking an analytical, process-driven Search Specialist to join our centralized eCommerce Operations and Digital Marketing team. This is a high-visibility, 1-year contract role focused entirely on optimizing the internal search experience for our enterprise B2B pharmaceutical distribution eCommerce platform.Reporting directly to the Search Supervisor, you will play a critical role in improving product discoverability, relevance, and conversion through data-driven search optimization. You will help build and manage the ranking and relevancy rules of our platform's Coveo search engine in order to deliver fast, relevant, personalized, and actionable search results to our B2B customers.Responsibilities:Fine-tune and optimize the rules, relevance algorithms, and machine learning (ML) models of the site's internal search engine to directly improve the relevance of search results for enterprise B2B customers.Analyze complex on-site search queries, null results, and clickstream data to identify behavioral trends, discoverability gaps, and actionable optimization opportunities.Partner closely with product, UX, data science, sales, content, merchandising, and marketing teams to refine comprehensive search strategies.Track on-site search performance metrics and KPIs to continuously support and maintain a best-in-class internal search experience.Assist with managing automated tools and AI/ML-driven search models to enhance product discovery.Run point on troubleshooting internal search-related issues, partner with technical engineering teams for rapid resolution, and assist with search testing/QA during platform enhancements or new feature launches.Clearly document internal search governance policies, active operational workflows, and optimization best practices.Qualifications:2-5 years of dedicated experience directly managing and optimizing internal search relevance for high-volume B2B or B2C eCommerce sites.Direct, hands-on experience utilizing enterprise search platforms is heavily preferred (e.g., Coveo, Endeca, SOLR, Reflektion, Sitecore, or similar engines).Previous experience operating within the pharmaceutical, medical device, or broader healthcare retail sector.JOBID: 062026-134716#LI-CELLA#PLEqual Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Cella, a randstad digital company, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
