The Role Comity is looking for a Growth Lead to help us scale our commercial presence across the utility-scale renewable energy market. You will think critically about how we grow, design the strategies to get there, and then go execute them. You will work in close partnership with our founders, with a direct line to product, strategy, and engineering. In this role, you will:
- Design and scale our go-to-market motion - Identify the most efficient paths to growth across segments, channels, and counterparty types. Build and develop partnerships, referral networks, and origination channels that make our commercial reach repeatable and scalable.
- Go sell - You don't just build strategies, you execute them. You go to conferences, you pick up the phone, you get in the room. You own a portion of our pipeline and are accountable for moving prospects forward.
- Feed intelligence back into the business - Through your market interactions, you continuously surface what resonates, what doesn't, and why. You translate that into sharp, actionable feedback that sharpens our product, messaging, and targeting.
- Shape our origination technology systems - Act as a core user of our origination tools, partnering with engineering to translate commercial realities into scalable workflows and AI-powered capabilities that multiply your reach and output as a commercial operator.
- You are a sharp, structured thinker - You can take an ambiguous commercial challenge, break it down clearly, and design a path forward. You think in frameworks without being rigid, and you move from insight to action quickly.
- You have a builder mentality - You thrive in 0→1 environments. You operate effectively under ambiguity, move with urgency, and are motivated by creating something new, not optimizing something that already exists. You do what it takes to move the business forward, even when the playbook hasn't been written yet.
- You know how to open doors - You are energized by originating new business, getting in front of people, and turning cold conversations into real opportunities. You build relationships from scratch, convey value with clarity and conviction, and follow through relentlessly.
- You communicate with anyone, at any level - You instinctively tailor your message to your audience. You can hold a crisp conversation with an analyst and a strategic one with a C-suite executive, and you leave every conversation moving something forward.
- You operate with high ownership and low ego - You are team-oriented, collaborative, and generous with context. You elevate the performance of the people around you and take accountability for outcomes without needing credit for the work.
- You are excited about technology as a competitive edge - You see technology as a force multiplier and actively look for ways to use it to move faster and with more precision than the competition.
- You have a genuine interest in energy and financial markets - You follow the energy transition closely, have a view on where power markets are heading, and are drawn to the complexity of how large-scale transactions get financed and secured. You get up to speed fast and ask good questions.
- Bonus - Prior B2B or commercial experience; time at a startup or early-stage company; exposure to financial products; a background in consulting, banking, or investing; a renewable energy / digital infrastructure network.
