Senior Accountant

Our client, a growing manufacturing organization in the Noblesville area, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This role will be a key contributor to the day-to-day accounting function and will partner closely with operations, supply chain, and executive leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong general ledger experience, a manufacturing accounting background, and the ability to oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. Key Responsibilities Lead and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting Oversee accounts payable and backup accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Monitor customer collections and vendor payments Support cash management and working capital initiatives Assist with inventory accounting, reconciliations, and cycle count activities Analyze financial results and investigate variances Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting Partner with operations, procurement, and leadership teams to improve processes and reporting Assist with annual audits, tax support, and compliance requirements Contribute to ERP enhancements and process improvement initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close procedures Experience managing or overseeing AP and AR functions Advanced Excel skills ERP system experience Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing accounting experience Inventory accounting experience Work-in-Process (WIP) accounting experience Cost accounting exposure Power BI or reporting tool experience CPA or CPA-track preferred Health Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: The California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers #J-18808-Ljbffr
