Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) / Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Opportunity
Limon, Colorado | Contracted School-Based Position | Immediate Start Through End of School Year
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based opportunity in Limon, CO . This position is available immediately and will continue through the end of the current school year. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about supporting students' communication, language, and academic success.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations as applicable to licensure
- Develop and implement treatment plans and therapy goals
- Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy sessions
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Ensure compliance with state, district, and federal regulations
QualificationsSpeech -Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist License required
- Colorado Department of Education (CDE) credential required
Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathology Assistant License required
- Colorado Department of Education (CDE) credential required
Preferred Skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Ability to manage caseloads and maintain documentation efficiently
- Passion for helping students achieve communication goals
