Duties

Help

• You will coordinate with system owners, stakeholders, and key personnel to ensure that each system is interoperable, integrated, and configured to
  support the enterprise architecture as applicable.
• You will provide advice and expertise in the areas including Information Technology Portfolio Management, Information Management Strategic Planning in support of Chief of Naval Air Training business systems.
• You will ensure that current and projected systems are registered in the proper Department of Defense repositories and that system data in these repositories is accurate, complete, and timely.
• You will serve as a principal point of contact for various Information Technology projects and programs associated with the portfolio management and Information Technology processes.
• You will manage, monitor, and maintain accountability of property and inventory of Information Technology equipment to include hardware, software, and
  network related assets for current and projected portfolio.
• You will coordinate with stakeholders to plan, develop, analyze, and optimize assigned and projected managed portfolio Information Technology resources to determine effectiveness in achieving planned goals and objectives.
• You will provide guidance, professional advice, and recommendations during the evaluation of existing and future information systems.

• This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 752 proficiency level Intermediate the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

I have one year of experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:

1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.

2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.

3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.

4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating projects to analyze and evaluate Information Technology system design and security for compliance with established and emerging policies.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
