Learn more at careers.alight.com [ Seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure and CI/CD capabilities supporting healthcare applications and services. hands-on expertise across Azure, AWS infrastructure automation with Terraform, YAML-based pipelines, and DevOps platforms such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitHub. “This role supports services provided to the federal government or federal government contractor and therefore requires US Citizenship. Proof of citizenship status will be required at time of hire.” Key Responsibilities * Implementing and governing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, including modules, state management, and CI enforcement. * Driving compliance alignment across DevOps processes to meet SOC 2, HIPAA, and using CheckMarx, SonarQube internal security standards, focusing on access control, auditability, and PHI safeguards. * Automating deployment, monitoring, and operational reliability across distributed cloud services, familiar with containerized workloads is a plus. * Collaborating with security, compliance, and audit teams to support continuous monitoring, evidence gathering, and security assessments. * Delivering infrastructure and application deployments during weekend release windows as required; participate in an on-call rotation. * Enforcing and contributing to engineering standards, best practices, and technical design reviews. * Troubleshooting and remediate complex production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term fixes. * Includes weekend work for planned releases and on-call rotations Requirements * 3+ years of DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience, with at least 3 years hands-on experience in both Azure and AWS. * Demonstrate expertise with YAML-based pipelines (multi-stage, reusable templates, variable groups, environments). * Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitHub/GitHub Actions for CI/CD, repository management, and pipelines governance.

• Proficiency abilities using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Demonstrate expertise with Azure Cosmo DB, Kubernetes platforms (AKS, EKS),

or GitOps tools (Argo CD, Flux). * Maintain experience with observability tools such as Azure Application Insight, New Relic, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch * Have completed a program of study typically requiring four years of post-secondary education or higher educational attainment in Computer Science or technical related field. * Have certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-400 Application and Interview By applying for a position with Alight, you understand that, should you be made an offer, it will be contingent on your undergoing and successfully completing a background check consistent with Alight’s employment policies.
