Machinist (2nd Shift)

As a Machinist, you'll set up and operate CNC and manual machines to produce high-quality, precise parts. You'll work with blueprints and machine code in a modern manufacturing facility on a 2nd shift schedule.

What You'll Do

• Set up and run CNC and manual machines (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.)
• Load and unload parts and tooling
• Read blueprints and follow work instructions
• Use G & M codes to run and adjust CNC machines
• Monitor machines and make adjustments as needed
• Inspect parts using measuring tools to ensure quality
• Document work and communicate with team members
• Perform basic calculations for machining (speeds, feeds, dimensions)
• Keep your work area clean and safe.

What You Need

• 3–5 years of machining experience
• Experience with CNC and manual machines
• Ability to read blueprints and understand G & M code
• Familiarity with FANUC controls
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Basic math skills for machining calculations
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Nice to Have:

• Experience with large parts and long production runs
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Work Environment & Shift

• Modern, well-equipped manufacturing facility
• On-site cafeteria, gym, and locker rooms
• 2nd shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM
• Work includes standing, running machines, and handling parts

This is a Permanent position based out of Pooler, GA.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $90000.00/yr.
