Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric and Neonatal Care

This is a 13-week contract position with 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist specializing in Pediatric and Neonatal care to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care to our pediatric and neonatal patients within the NICU and PICU settings.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapies such as aerogen, cough assist, IPV, and NAVA.
• Manage ventilators, including Hamilton and Servo brands, ensuring optimal patient support.
• Conduct intrahospital transports and perform airway management.
• Collaborate with the medical team for comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a PICU or Level 4 NICU.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) may be accepted.
• Must have current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
