Clinical Psychologist

PsychologistThe Psychologist assesses inmates' mental health needs and suggesting treatment plans based on their criminal, psychological, and substance abuse histories.Talking with mentally ill inmates to help them during crises, group therapy, or one-on-one meetings, sometimes at their cell fronts.Using psychological tests to understand inmates better and provide appropriate care.Keeping detailed records of all interactions with inmates and attending team meetings.The Psychologist monitors inmate progress using Subjective Assessment Plan Evaluation FORMATTED PROGRESS NOTES.Teaching inmates about mental health and creating resources for them, especially those with mental illness or who are sex offenders.Sharing patient information with relatives only if they've given permission.The Psychologist makes sure the facility stays safe and orderly, preventing escapes or harm to anyone.Psychologist - REQUIREMENTSDegree: Must have a PhD. or PsyD.Education: Graduate from a college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.Experience: Need at least one year of full-time experience in the last three years working as Psychologist.Licensure: Must have a full, unrestricted license to practice in the state of California.KurzSolutions is committed to improving health outcomes by providing well-managed companies with the top healthcare talent in the market.KurzSolutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
