Field Services Representative

Job Summary The Field Services Representative performs day-to-day services within their assigned region. This includes roof inspections, specialized problem resolution, and weekly activity reporting. Field work involves low and steep slope roof types. The representative participates in training and meetings as directed and remains responsible for prioritizing, scheduling, and performing warranty, guarantee and complaint inspections without direct supervision. Additionally, the representative will obtain a drone certification within the first six months. Essential Duties Completes roof inspections including leak and complaint inspections. Travels to neighboring areas to perform roof inspections. Prioritizes open inspection requests to formulate a productive and efficient schedule. Completes commercial and residential roof inspections including start‑ups, interims, and finals. Assists in problem resolution and provides proper written communication to GAF and customers. Provides technical assistance to internal and external business partners as directed. Completes timely reports for all completed inspections. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent. 5+ years of roofing experience. General Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, critical for reports and advancement. Ability to work toward team goals and provide solutions. Strong interpersonal and customer relationship management skills. Time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple activities and commitments. Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials, ladders, etc. Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Understand and comply with GAF safety requirements. Strong working knowledge of GAF products and procedures. Strong computer skills related to GAF software systems as applicable. Sound general knowledge of commercial and residential buildings, essential, ongoing. Knowledge of roofing‑related products and their installation methods, essential, ongoing.
