Radiology Technologist-Outpt

Summary Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties necessary. Position Details Facility: BayCare Health System, Land O Lakes Diagnostic Radiology Outpatient Imaging Location: 18600 Fernview St. Suite 101, Land O' Lakes, FL 34638 Status: PRN, Exempt: No Shift Hours: Variable Shift: Shift 4, Varies - days and evenings, open until 8pm Weekend Work: Occasional On Call: No Radiology Technologist - Outpatient Responsibilities Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation. Must have customer service and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills. Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position. Preferred 1 year experience in CT Technologist, Electrocardiogram and/or MRI Requirements BLS (Basic Life Support) AART (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible; OR – ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months Radiology – State of Florida Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr
