NOW HIRING PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANTS (PTA's) FOR LONG TERM CARE OPPORTUNITIES IN QUEENS

**FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE**

Compensation: $35 - 38 per hour on 1099

Job Duties for PTA

• Follows through with treatment plan established by Licensed Physical Therapist and provides treatments in accordance with professional standards of practice.
• Provides treatments in a safe manner, observing precautions related to infection control and resident/patient privacy and dignity.
• Completes all documentation in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with departmental, regulatory, and payer standards.
• Works effectively with all Rehab Department and interdisciplinary staff to ensure care is delivered in an organized manner.
• Assists in maintaining the safe operation of all equipment for the safety of patients
• Accurately integrates treatment knowledge into the daily education of residents and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Strong patient care skills and knowledge of physiology and anatomy
• Proficiency in medical terminology and physical therapy techniques
• Experience in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing facilities, and home health
• Familiarity with discharge planning and care plans
• Knowledge of orthopedics and geriatrics
• Certification in trigger point therapy is a plus
