EDI Developer

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience supporting production EDI environments, quickly identifying and resolving transaction and integration issues, and working closely with business teams and trading partners to support day-to-day operations. Strong NetSuite and Orderful experience should remain a key focus area for this role. Duration: Estimated 3-6 months Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive EDI Developer with 5–10 years of experience to support, troubleshoot, and enhance our Order-to-Cash EDI integrations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with EDI transactions, NetSuite integration, and EDI platforms such as Boomi and Orderful. This role requires excellent troubleshooting skills, the ability to quickly resolve production issues, and close collaboration with business, Order Management, and external trading partners in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and support EDI integrations across Order-to-Cash processes.
• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot EDI transactions including 850 (Purchase Order), 855 (PO Acknowledgment), 856 (ASN), 810 (Invoice), 860 (PO Change), and 846 (Inventory Inquiry/Advice).
• Perform day-to-day production support activities, investigate failed transactions, identify root causes, and resolve EDI/integration issues in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot data mapping, connectivity, document validation, and integration issues between trading partners, NetSuite, Boomi, and Orderful.
• Work closely with Order Management, Customer Service, Warehouse, and IT teams to resolve business-critical order processing issues.
• Support onboarding and testing of new trading partners through Orderful and other EDI platforms, including mapping validation, certification, and end-to-end testing.
• Maintain and support EDI routing configurations, trading partner setups, and integration workflows.
• Collaborate with external vendors, retailers, and integration providers to ensure seamless data exchange and issue resolution.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for EDI processes, mappings, workflows, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Continuously identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.

Required Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in EDI development, integration, and support.
• Strong experience with Order-to-Cash EDI transactions (850, 855, 856, 810, 860, 846).
• Strong NetSuite experience, including understanding of customer records, order processing, and EDI-related workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Boomi integration platform.
• Experience working with Orderful platform for trading partner onboarding, testing, and EDI transaction management.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex EDI, mapping, and integration issues.
• Experience monitoring production EDI environments and supporting business-critical transaction processing.
• Strong understanding of ANSI X12 standards, EDI communication protocols, and integration concepts.
• Experience working with major retailers and marketplaces including Macy's, Walmart, Kohl's, Amazon, CommerceHub, and DSCO.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple support and project activities simultaneously.
