  • Deliver brief and focused interventions for clients requiring mental health support, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic practices.

  • Collaborate within a primary care team to identify, treat, and manage psychosocial issues, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

  • Monitor patient progress and follow up regularly to adjust treatment plans as necessary, fostering continued recovery and support.

  • Develop relapse prevention strategies for at-risk patients, reinforcing stability and health maintenance.

  • Document patient progress and treatment notes accurately, maintaining compliance with clinic and regulatory standards.

  • Provide education and empower patients with self-management skills, encouraging personal accountability in their mental health journeys.

  • Assist patients in adhering to any medical treatment prescribed by primary care providers, offering strategies to manage potential medication side effects.

  • Adhere to all relevant ethical standards and codes of conduct while carrying out assigned duties.

Your expertise will cater primarily to adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges. You will actively engage with diverse populations, tailoring interventions to meet individual needs while promoting positive health outcomes. Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from an accredited institution.

  • Active LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license in the state of Arizona.
  • \n
  • Proven knowledge of mental health assessment, treatment planning, developmental psychopathology, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • \n
  • Ability to establish professional relationships with patients, families, and staff while working within an interdisciplinary team.
  • \n
  • Excellent documentation skills, with a strong focus on maintaining accurate clinical records and preparing necessary reports.
  • \n
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to express ideas and collaborate with others responsibly.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, enabling effective communication with a broader client base.

  • Experience in community mental health settings, especially within Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC).

  • Familiarity with psychodiagnostics and an understanding of the community resources available for mental health support.
