We are hiring assistant store managers for various locations across the DFW metroplex. We are seeking talented individuals who are hands on and active team players in a non typical non profit organization. Ideally we are seeking individuals who are good with participating in sorting, cleaning up and stocking donated consumer goods for resale purpose.

 

This position offers a flexible schedule, OT and competetive pay. Starting pay for this position is $20 per hour. Additional duties are listed below. This position is not a retail store position and requires a different set of job requirements, duties and responsibilities. We are actively seeking candidates who are fully bilingual in English / Spanish to assist with managing these operations.

 

Primary responsibilities

• Staff and volunteer supervision: Assist in recruiting, training, scheduling, and directing volunteers and staff, and provide guidance and support during shifts.
• Donation processing: Oversee the receiving, sorting, cleaning, pricing, and displaying of donated items to ensure a consistent flow to the sales floor.
• Customer service: Provide excellent customer service to shoppers and donors, handle customer inquiries, and resolve complaints or conflicts.
• Store operations: Act as the on-site supervisor in the absence of the store manager, performing duties such as opening and closing the store and ensuring all operational procedures are followed.
• Store maintenance: Ensure the sales floor, back rooms, and restrooms are clean and well-maintained, and assist with merchandising and stocking shelves.
