Carpentry Support Role
Responsible for materials management, tools, unloading/loading, set up and breakdown in the completion of carpentry support of crating; receiving, packing, inventory, and shipping of storage, display, production, and sales machines, components, and parts.
Key Accountabilities:
- 100% crating of all large spares order, equipment, and tooling.
- Loading and unloading of trucks.
- Blocking and bracing of containers (2 to 4 per year).
- Managing crate planning.
- Completes standard crates for inventory.
- Maintains, repairs, stocks used crates from IB and other sources.
- Maintain tools and carry out preventive maintenance program.
- Maintain lumber minimum stocks, inventory, and place replenishment orders with supervisor.
- Ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order.
- Complete required reports.
- Perform additional duties as required by management.
- Train back up.
Required Education and Experience:
- 5+ years of previous carpentry experience
- Experience and expertise with all manner of carpentry tools
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
