Full Time/ Part Time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Children's Health of Ocala Ocala, FL 34471 $90,000 – $120,000 / Year Full Time We are seeking a Full Time / PT Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. Responsibilities Provide patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for well visits and acute, episodic or chronic illnesses. Provide medical orders for treatments, prescriptions/refills, medication administration, diagnostic testing, and referrals. Review, interpret, and respond to diagnostic test results; and coordinates notifications to and follow up with the patient, when applicable. Provide counseling to patients and their families on issues related to health. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using our EMR system (Office Practicum). Create and contributes to patient care plans. Demonstrate proficiency in time management and can work in a fast-paced environment. Maintain professionalism with a welcoming bedside manner. Work independently regarding most clinical decision-making. Perform other related duties as required or assigned by the Medical Director Qualifications Board-Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant ( PA) Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner preferred.
