Job Opportunity – Perioperative Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: June 22, 2026
Location: Dallas, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM; includes two Mondays and two Fridays per schedule period; no weekends or on-call

Highlights:

• Work in a 22-bed Adult Day Surgery unit supporting general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, and scopes
• Patient ratios of 1:1 in preop, PAT, and holding; 3:1 in post-op
• EMR: Meditech (required familiarity)
• Collaborative team environment with 41 staff members including charge nurses, RNs, and PCTs
• Flexible scheduling with self-scheduling options and rotational floating to PreAdmit Testing, Preop, and Post-Op areas
• Adult and pediatric patient populations; candidates with dual experience are prioritized

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with IV starts
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR strongly preferred
• Day surgery, preop, or PreAdmit Testing (PAT) experience highly desirable
• Pediatric and adult perioperative experience preferred
