Job Description

We are seeking an Optometrist to join this spectacular ophthalmic team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a supportive environment and is seeking to establish a full-time practice focused on medical and routine exams in a growing ophthalmology practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages

• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and conditions

• Prescribe and fit corrective lenses

• Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients

• Educate patients on eye health, preventative care, and treatment options

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care

• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base salary starts at $150,000, with the potential for increases based on patient volume and productivity.

• Opportunity for monthly bonuses through product sales (glasses, contacts) estimated between $800 - $1,000.

• Additional bonuses are available for Retinal Photography Screening and Post-operative Refraction, providing further earning potential.

• They are open to discussing relocation assistance and a hiring bonus for the right candidate.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school

• Valid state optometry license or in the process of obtaining
