Practice Info Regional tertiary-care medical facility, referral hub, and Level II trauma center Over 400 beds with an extensive range of inpatient and outpatient services Team works in a care team model approach Case assignments include Ortho, neuro, general surgery, transplants, and OBGYN Responsibilities Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Compensation Salary: $565K annually Sign-on bonus: $75K Loan repayment or training assistance program funding options are available Benefits Generous paid time off Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts 401(k) Profit sharing Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage Leadership and professional development opportunities Shift & Schedule Various shifts available A combination of in-house and beeper call (approximately 1x/week) Post-call day off Requirements M.D./D.O.
