Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology

Job Details:

• Work either 3x12 day shifts or 4x10 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Two days per week require late case coverage
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• No floating requirement
• 1 year EP Lab clinical experience required
• Unit accepts first-time travelers with required EP experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES/RCIS
• Preferred certifications: ARRT, Fluoro permit
• Must have experience with Cerner charting system
• Required skills: Electrophysiology Lab, hemodynamic monitoring/ablations, EKG settings and experience
• Must be experienced with inpatient/outpatient settings, obtaining vitals, and sinus node rhythms
• Required equipment experience: Philips X-Ray machine/Siemens x-ray machine, GE Micropacer
• Preferred equipment experience: 3D mapping systems, various ultrasound machines, laser lead machine
• Handle average daily caseload of 18 cases
• Perform cardiac electrophysiology studies, cardioversions, ablations, and device implants/explants
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Must complete 20 hours of orientation
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions

This is a 748-bed short term acute care teaching hospital recognized as one of the top 50 heart and vascular centers in the country. The facility features a specialized 5-room electrophysiology department that performs complex cardiac procedures including ablations, device implants, and lead extractions. The hospital utilizes advanced technology and equipment to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care, with modern charting systems and medication management platforms to support high-quality patient outcomes.
