Step into a leadership role where your expertise as a Physical Therapy Services Coordinator will directly shape high-quality support for K-12 students, particularly those with autism. In this full-time contract opportunity, you’ll oversee both the Physical Therapy and Adapted Physical Education departments, guiding delivery of impactful, student-centered services. Your ability to mentor and develop fellow clinicians will foster a dynamic, collaborative environment where therapy and education intersect to create positive change.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid PT license
- Prior experience in school-based physical therapy
- Background working with K-12 students
- Passion for supporting students with autism or special needs
- Demonstrated leadership or mentorship skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee delivery of physical therapy and adapted physical education services for students
- Serve as a resource and mentor for fellow clinicians, fostering their professional growth
- Design and adapt therapy plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Guide compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in service delivery
- Communicate regularly with educators, families, and staff on student progress and service effectiveness
- Monitor and evaluate departmental effectiveness, striving for continuous improvement
