Salary: $126,178.25 - 153,040 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline, plus five years of experience in enterprise, solutions, or technical architecture; alternatively, a high school diploma or GED with nine years of relevant architecture experience.
• We look for experience with N-tier and other complex architectural designs.
• We expect hands-on experience working with Agile delivery methods.
• We require familiarity with technical, application, and information architecture delivery approaches and methodologies.
• We require an AWS Solutions Architect certification.

• We expect strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, platforms, and cloud-native serverless architectures, with AWS required and Azure as a plus.
• We require advanced proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
• We value strong understanding of how to use design patterns to translate business needs into technical strategy.
• We need familiarity with documenting solutions using standards such as BPMN and UML.
• We look for knowledge of containers and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• We value awareness of observability, telemetry, and instrumentation platforms such as OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
• We prefer experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
• We expect understanding of the organizations technology stack, including middleware, .NET, Java J2EE, Oracle, and similar systems.
• We strongly prefer experience with Kafka and Confluent, along with emerging technologies such as Apache Flink.
• We prefer Confluent Administrator and/or Confluent Developer certifications.
• We value knowledge of Kafka Streams, ksqlDB, and other advanced event-streaming tools.
• We prefer experience with data mesh models and streaming-first data platform strategies.
• We look for a track record of leading large-scale platform transformations, migrations, or ownership transitions.
• We prefer prior collaboration with Confluent or other strategic vendors to improve platform maturity and adoption.
• We value financial services or banking experience in highly regulated environments.
• We prefer demonstrated success driving self-service adoption, developer onboarding, and enterprise-wide platform evangelization.

• We oversee cloud solution architectures from initial concept through delivery and production support.
• We partner with business and technology experts to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• We contribute to the design and modeling of cloud architectures for development, delivery, and support initiatives.
• We collaborate with other architects to create scalable, adaptable solutions built on consensus.
• We help shape roadmaps that align technology priorities with business strategy and required architectural runway.
• We encourage reuse of services, components, frameworks, and infrastructure as code to lower costs and improve information flow.
• We support team members in designing and deploying cloud strategies and solutions.
• We identify opportunities to simplify code, existing and new architectures, and vendor dependencies.
• We build trusted advisor relationships with key technical decision makers across Technology.
• We recommend ways to improve application efficiency, enhance program adoption, and deepen user understanding.
• We design both physical and logical architecture components that support strong business outcomes.
• We work with Enterprise and Business Solutions Architecture to ensure alignment with our architectural principles and patterns.
• We provide feedback when existing architectural principles or patterns need adjustment or exception handling.
• We partner with Cyber Security to address network, application, and data security needs.
• We collaborate with stakeholders to understand non-functional requirements that may affect cloud architecture.
• We work with software delivery teams to ensure solutions are observable and secure by design.
• We oversee technical analysis and architecture design capabilities.
• We ensure adherence to risk management programs, regulations, cybersecurity practices, and disciplined change management.
• We own and drive our enterprise data streaming platform strategy across Kafka, Confluent, Kafka Connect, and emerging technologies such as Apache Flink.
• We define the platform roadmap and establish enterprise standards for event-driven architecture.
• We ensure resiliency, security, governance, compliance, and disaster recovery across the platform.
• We provide technical leadership and align architecture, engineering, operations, and risk stakeholders to accelerate platform adoption and maturity.
