Shipping and Receiving ClerkAs a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will play a crucial role in verifying and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments. You will be responsible for preparing finished products for shipment and ensuring all outgoing shipments meet specifications. This role requires you to compare identifying information such as counts, weights, and measures of all incoming and outgoing shipments and verify this information against provided records.ResponsibilitiesAffix appropriate labels on packed cartons and attach packing slips as required.Unpack and examine incoming shipments, taking steps to receive items, rejecting damaged items, and filing appropriate documentation.Route received items to the correct department and maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.Direct others in preparing outgoing and receiving incoming shipments.Load and unload shipments on pallets from the designated area.Essential SkillsExperience in shipping and receiving departments.Proficiency in inventory control and data entry.Ability to load and unload trucks, including box trucks.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with inventory management and packing.Previous experience in a shipping department is preferred.Why Work Here?We offer a comprehensive benefits package including a 401k plan, paid time off, insurance benefits, and paid holidays. The shift is from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday, with two Saturdays a month requiring 2 to 4 hours of work.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Broken Arrow, OK.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
