CT Technologist (PRN)-2

Job Overview The Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) reports to the CT supervisor and manager of radiology. Under general supervision, the CT Technologist performs high quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations ranging from neonates through geriatrics for interpretation by a physician. Other duties as deemed necessary. (Infrequent) Ability to exert up to 50 lbs. of force (Frequent) Examples of Force Requirements To transfer a 100 lb. patient that cannot assist in the transfer requires 50 lbs. of force. For every additional 100 pounds, assistance will be required from another healthcare worker. 20 lbs. of force is needed to push a 400 lb. patient in a wheelchair on carpet. 25 lbs. of force is required to push a stretcher with a patient with one hand.
