We re seeking 1 Locum Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP only) for an outpatient primary care clinic in Tehachapi, California to support vacancy/recruiting coverage . This role sees all ages and requires comfort with both pediatric and adult patients.

Schedule

Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Call: No call

Patient Volume / Tools

Estimated Volume: patients per day
EMR: Epic

Daily Responsibilities

Provide family medicine/primary care services for all ages
Health maintenance, physical diagnosis, and treatment of acute/chronic issues in a primary care setting
Initial exams; set up/monitor equipment as needed
Order/administer diagnostic tests and document care administered
Manage common primary care complaints, including:
- Cold/flu/cough/sore throat
- UTI, STD
- Rashes
- Arthritis flare
- Wound checks
- Women s health items within family medicine scope
- Wellness checks (e.g., blood pressure checks)
Documentation
Procedures (preferred, not required): I&D, suturing, toenail removal

Compensation

Rate Structure: Hourly All-Inclusive

Requirements

Board Certified
BLS (American Heart Association)
Active California license required
