We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Contract Bartender to join our team in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Contract Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring a clean and organized bar area, and providing a memorable experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
• Mix ingredients to create classic and innovative cocktails
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including bar equipment and supplies
• Check customers' identification to ensure they meet legal drinking age requirements
• Take orders and serve snacks and drinks to customers
• Interact with customers, take feedback, and provide excellent customer service
• Manage cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Monitor and manage inventory of bar supplies
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages

Skills and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of a wide range of drink recipes and mixology techniques
• Ability to manage a busy bar and multitask effectively
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Certification or training in bartending is preferred
• Familiarity with local alcohol laws and regulations in Richmond, VA
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
• Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail
