Job Title: CT Tech

Pay Rate: $65 - $73.50/hour (Depending on Experience and Working Hours)
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | Preferred 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM | 5x8s | Must be open to evening hours as needed | No Weekends | No Holidays | No On-Call

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified CT Tech to join a high-volume diagnostic imaging department. The ideal candidate will perform CT and radiographic imaging procedures, including contrast-enhanced studies, while ensuring patient safety, high-quality imaging, and compliance with established clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and diagnostic radiography procedures following physician orders and imaging protocols.

• Administer contrast media in accordance with certification and safety guidelines.

• Prepare and screen patients for imaging procedures.

• Produce high-quality diagnostic images and evaluate image quality.

• Document procedures accurately in EMR, RIS, HIS, and PACS systems.

• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards.

• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support patient care.

• Maintain imaging equipment and report operational issues.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.

• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License.

• NYS certification to inject contrast media.

• ARRT Certification in Radiography.

• ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT).

• Minimum 1 year of Diagnostic Imaging experience.

• Recent CT experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging, radiation safety, and imaging information systems.
