Position Overview

A York Technical Recruiter is responsible for the recruiting lifecycle, including sourcing and screening candidates, compensation negotiations and deployment of candidates. The position is a Hybrid position with working remotely and going into our Brooklyn Park, MN office. In this exempt position, the Recruiter is a vital cog in the management of the relationships between York, its clients, and its candidates. The Recruiter must exercise significant reasonable independent judgment and discretion in the below position responsibilities including all compensation setting and negotiations.

The expected salary range for this position is $40,000-$60,000/year dependent upon experience and skills, plus commission and bonus incentives.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire recruiting lifecycle, including identifying qualified candidates, conducting interviews, assessing skills, negotiating compensation, and deploying candidates.
• Develop effective sourcing strategies, adapting to market conditions as needed.
• Partner with Account Managers and Delivery Directors to collaborate with position requirements and priorities.
• Actively source qualified candidates through various channels (LinkedIn, Dice, Monster, job boards, referrals, cold calling).
• Conduct candidate screenings and interviews, assessing candidates' skills, experience, qualifications against job requirements, and selecting the most qualified.
• Coordinate with candidates to schedule next interviews.
• Negotiate compensation and provide benefit information to qualified applicants.
• Grow and manage extensive candidate pipeline through various resources.
• Build and maintain relationships with IT consultants to gain industry knowledge and obtain candidate referrals.
• Be active and resourceful in the marketplace, working with networking organizations, user groups and electronic events in order to be on the cutting edge of recruiting within the technology marketplace.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of technology recruiting experience with Software Developers, PMOs and many more.
• Positive, high energy, competitive and self-motivated individual
• Excellent team and relationship development skills
• Strong organizational and follow through skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• High attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Bullhorn ATS experience is a plus
