Job Title: Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (MS/Tele)

Location: Massena, NY, United States
Job Type: Contract
Shift: Day Shift (4x12) | 07:00 – 19:00
Duration: 13 Weeks

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. The RN will provide direct patient care for medically complex patients, monitor cardiac rhythms, manage treatments, and support rapid response situations in a hospital setting.

• Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias
• Administer medications, blood products, and prescribed treatments
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, and peripheral IV access
• Perform IV insertion and maintenance of vascular access devices
• Provide respiratory support including oxygen therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, and nasal cannula
• Manage patients with COPD, pneumonia, chest pain, CVA, seizures, and infections
• Respond to rapid response and code situations as needed
• Maintain infection control and isolation precautions
• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

• Active New York State RN License
• Minimum 2 years of acute care MS/Tele experience
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Strong skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation and management
• Experience with IV therapy, central line care, and critical patient monitoring
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to work in high-acuity hospital environments
