What You'll Do:

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room for adult and pediatric patients
• Assist surgical teams with instrument management and sterile techniques
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate efficient surgeries
• Document patient care activities accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Support emergency team assignments when required and adhere to facility protocols

What You Need:

• Current RN license in Louisiana (or eligible for reciprocity)
• At least 3 years of circulating experience in ophthalmology, pediatrics ortho, general, or ENT surgeries
• Proficiency with EPIC hospital technology
• Willingness to participate in on-call duties as discussed during interview

About the Assignment:

This role involves providing advanced perioperative nursing in a busy OR environment. The unit specializes in a variety of surgical procedures, with a focus on adult and pediatric specialties. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced and collaborative team setting. You may be assigned to emergency or relief teams as needed, which involves staying on-site until the event passes.
