Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in North Charleston, South Carolina. The role involves producing diagnostic images using computed tomography (CT) scanners under the supervision of certified radiologists. Candidates must bring their license on the first day. The position requires working a rotating schedule that includes weekends, with the possibility of being called in for shifts every six weeks at different facilities.

Job Details:

• Location: North Charleston, South Carolina
• Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week minimum.
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred; certification in Radiologic Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or permanent certification in Radiography from SCRQSA if a RSFH teammate; current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider Card; successful completion of an accredited Computed Tomography Program preferred; ARRT registration in CT preferred.
• Additional Information: Strong interpersonal and communication skills required; demonstrated ability to perform and teach CT exams preferred; knowledge of OSHA, DHEC, FDA, and TJC standards and regulations; ability to operate standard office equipment; experience working with imaging equipment and understanding safety standards. Candidates should be prepared to perform contrast procedures, assist with patient care, maintain accurate records, and follow safety policies and protocols.
• Float: Float rotation may be required during the scheduled shifts and call shifts.
• Certifications: Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.
