Maintenance TechnicianEaston Select Group is seeking a dependable and technically skilled Maintenance Technician to support pool maintenance, equipment repairs, and field service operations across a growing multi-brand organization. This role is responsible for performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on swimming pools, spas, and related equipment systems.The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in maintaining safe, functional, and high-quality pool environments while delivering exceptional customer service. This position supports operational efficiency by ensuring equipment systems are operating properly, water chemistry is balanced, and service requests are completed accurately and on time.The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced outdoor field environment.Core ResponsibilitiesPool Maintenance & Equipment ServicePerform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repair work on pool systems and related equipmentService and maintain pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, plumbing systems, automation controls, and related componentsDiagnose mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and operational equipment issues and perform repairs as neededConduct pool openings, closings, and seasonal maintenance activitiesEnsure all service work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standardsWater Chemistry & System MonitoringTest and balance pool water chemistry including chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and related chemical levelsApply chemicals and treatment solutions in accordance with company procedures and safety standardsMonitor system performance and identify potential maintenance or operational concerns proactivelyEnsure pools meet operational, cleanliness, and safety standards during service visitsCustomer Service & Field SupportCommunicate professionally with customers regarding maintenance findings, service recommendations, and repair needsRespond promptly to service requests and maintenance issuesMaintain accurate service records, repair documentation, and operational notesCoordinate with Service Managers, Dispatch, and Operations teams regarding service updates and scheduling needsSupport additional field operations and maintenance tasks as assignedSafety & Operational ComplianceFollow OSHA regulations, company safety procedures, and operational standards at all timesSafely handle pool chemicals, tools, equipment, and service vehiclesMaintain clean, organized, and safe work environments across all job sitesReport operational, equipment, or safety concerns promptly to leadershipEnsure compliance with local and company standards related to pool operations and maintenanceQualificationsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience in pool maintenance, field service, or related technical industry preferredBasic knowledge of pool systems, equipment operation, and water chemistryStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilitiesAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and service instructionsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to lift 50–75 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditionsStrong communication, time management, and organizational skillsPreferred QualificationsCertified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or similar industry certification preferredExperience with pool automation systems and advanced water treatment technologiesBasic plumbing and electrical repair experience preferredCustomer service experience within field service or route-based environments preferredAbility to work independently and manage daily service routes effectivelySkills & CompetenciesPreventative maintenance and repair capabilitiesMechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsWater chemistry testing and treatment knowledgeCustomer communication and service orientationTime management and route coordination abilitiesAttention to detail and commitment to safety complianceAbility to manage multiple service priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbout UsEaston Select Group is a Massachusetts-based company specializing in pool services and backyard leisure products.
