Job Description

Major duties and responsibilities include:

* Process and submit customs entries accurately and in a timely manner. * Review documentation for completeness and compliance with US Customs regulations. * Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers to resolve issues and facilitate timely shipment clearance. * Maintain up-to-date records in internal systems and client databases. * Help identify process improvements to manage volume efficiently. * Provide administrative support and assist with additional operational tasks as needed. * Coordinate and file required documentation for Partner Government Agencies (PGAs), including the FDA, to ensure regulatory compliance and timely clearance.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

* 2+ years of experience in customs brokerage, logistics, or ecommerce operations (preferred). * Familiarity with US Customs procedures and entry types (e.g., Section 321, informal, formal entries). * Strong attention to detail and high data accuracy. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Proven ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines in a remote setting. * Tech-savvy, comfortable using brokerage or logistics platforms and Excel/Google Sheets.

Skills:

* Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with clients, customs authorities, and other stakeholders. * Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Spanish is considered an asset. * Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure. * Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. * Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and reliability. * Proficiency with computers and software; detail-oriented, resourceful, and eager to learn. * Must be a team player - like seriously, prove it.

Working Conditions: Our standard work schedule is 40 hours per week, as follows:
