Engineering Analyst

Expected Salary Range Senior Level: $118,000 – $148,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits. Primary Purpose Of Position Performs advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations. Responsible for technical decisions and possesses detailed knowledge of industry codes and regulations. Primary Duties And Accountabilities Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs. Offer technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems. Manage engineering issues from initial to complete task. Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision, applying general engineering principles. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, employing proper configuration management and standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes. Conduct independent research, reviews, studies and analyses supporting technical projects and programs. Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs and correct design or material flaws or comply with changes in codes or regulations. Perform other assignments such as emergency response, departmental coverage, call‑outs and support of outage activities outside the department. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (non‑engineer) with 5 years of nuclear or related industry experience, OR Associate’s degree in a technical field with 7 years of nuclear or related industry experience, OR High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years of nuclear or related experience, 5 of which should be at the exempt level. Working knowledge of engineering processes and systems required for the specific functional area. Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties. Project management or project team experience. Training coordination experience. This Analyst role can be filled at the Senior level. #J-18808-Ljbffr Constellation
