Senior Test Automation Engineer

Software Test Team Leader
You will be a part of the Software Test team and report to the Senior Manager, Test Engineering responsible for Beckman Coulter Microbiology. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Design/architect test automation framework and develop test automation code using Python script and TestComplete for new and existing Microbiology Software
- Write test scenarios using Gherkin language
- Build and maintain C/CD pipelines using Azure Devops integrated with TestComplete
- Add to and maintain tests in the existing smoke tests and regression test suites
- Provide improvements and enhancements to the existing suite of tests
- Identify testing best practices and ensure good test coverage
- Assist management with resource allocation and project planning tasks
- Provide leadership to drive improvements and build skillset within the software test team
- Train others and bring new testing knowledge to the team
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering with 5+ years programming experience or master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 3+ years programming experience
- 3+ years of experience testing desktop applications
- Demonstrated familiarity with Agile Scrum Methodologies
- Experience building continuous integration pipelines (CI/CD) using Azure Devops or Jenkins
- Experience building test automation framework from ground up using TestComplete or similar
- C++, C# or Java development experience
- Demonstrated team leadership ability, strong communication and collaboration skills
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Client-ALM
- Human factors / usability
- Medical device software development under FDA and global regulation
