Business Immigration Attorney

A highly regarded global law firm is seeking a Contract Business Immigration Attorney to support its busy immigration practice in downtown San Francisco. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with employment-based immigration experience who enjoys managing a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment. The position offers a hybrid schedule with 2 days onsite in San Francisco and 3 days remote , with flexibility regarding in-office days. This is a 3-monthlong contract assignment with potential for extension and/or conversion. Key Responsibilities Manage a high-volume caseload of employment-based immigration matters. Prepare and file a variety of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions. Advise clients on business immigration processes, requirements, and case strategy. Handle H-1B, E-1, E-2, E-3, immigrant visa (IV), and nonimmigrant visa (NIV) matters. Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and clients to ensure timely case progression. Maintain accurate case records and provide proactive communication throughout the immigration process. Qualifications Active attorney license in good standing in any U.S. state. Prior business immigration experience required. Experience handling H-1B, E-1, E-2, E-3, IV, and NIV matters. Experience managing a high-volume caseload strongly preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work onsite in San Francisco two days per week. The anticipated compensation range for this position is $75-$95+/hour , depending on experience.
