Medical Director Emergency Medicine (EM) - Coastal SC Near North Myrtle Beach
Position Overview:
Lead a dedicated emergency medicine team in a modern, high-volume community hospital near North Myrtle Beach. The facility features 28 ED beds and sees over 37,000 annual patient visits. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned emergency medicine physician with prior leadership experience to shape clinical performance and enhance patient care delivery in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical oversight and leadership for a busy emergency department
- Guide operational efficiency, quality metrics, and patient outcomes
- Foster team development and promote a culture of excellence
Qualifications:
- BC/BE in Emergency Medicine
- Minimum 2 5 years of leadership experience in a medium-sized ED
- Proven ability to lead teams and implement process improvements
Position Details:
- 28-bed emergency department
- 155-bed hospital
- Approx. 37,000 annual ED visits
- Competitive clinical compensation + administrative stipend
- 1099 independent contractor status
