Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Room/Emergency Department care for a Travel assignment in Longview, TX. This role demands independent practice in a fast-paced and dynamic clinical setting, offering routine and complex care and focusing on both long-term goals and immediate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED

• Meet expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Others, or Leaders
• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor for side-effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family, and caregivers

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA only)
• Current PALS certification (AHA only)
• Current TNCC certification
• RN License in the state of TX or compact
