Salary Range: $66,000 - $99,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Charlotte region seeking Demand Planners. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidatesnot just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts for a portfolio of products.
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to refine forecasts.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development to gather market intelligence.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and identify root causes for significant deviations.
• Adjust forecasts based on inventory levels, production capacity, and supply chain constraints.
• Utilize demand planning software and statistical modeling techniques.
• Participate in S&OP meetings to present and review demand plans.
• Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks related to demand fluctuations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis RapidResponse, JDA/Blue Yonder).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with sales, marketing, and production teams.
• Experience with statistical forecasting models and methodologies.
