Job Description
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) for a 13-week contract to provide specialized perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures. The RN will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care throughout the operative process. Candidates must have recent CVOR experience and be available for weekday, weekend, holiday, and emergency call coverage.

Requirements:

Current RN license required (single-state or Compact)

Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required

BLS certification required

ACLS certification required (or willing to obtain within facility guidelines)

Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

Epic EMR experience required

Strong circulating experience required; scrub experience preferred

Knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures, sterile technique, and emergency response

Excellent critical thinking, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills

Ability to participate in weekday, weekend, holiday, and emergency call rotation
