Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Experience working with middle and high school students (grades 6–12) in a special education setting
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Positive, patient attitude and a passion for supporting students with unique challenges

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of nine students, designing and implementing effective individual education plans
• Adapt curriculum and teaching styles to accommodate various learning abilities and needs
• Work closely with general education teachers and support staff to integrate support within mainstream classrooms
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and challenges
• Maintain accurate records and meet all compliance requirements
