Bring your fresh perspective, develop your strengths, break out your mold, and find a career that fits your dreams with us.**Click on the link below to learn what our employees have to say about Evonik:** Perform emergency, repair, and preventative maintenance on rotating mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, agitators, vacuum pumps, and blowers.* Perform equipment lubrication as required.* Read blueprints, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.* Plan and schedule work by coordinating with other maintenance technicians.* Enter completed work orders into the SAP system.* Maintain department and plant safety performance.* Follow federal, state, corporate, and plant environmental standards. · Stock spare parts as needed.* Participate in required safety and technical training.* Participate in call-ins, weekend duty, and overtime as assigned.**REQUIREMENTS*** High school diploma or equivalent required.* Minimum of 2 years of experience working with rotating mechanical equipment.* Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment.* Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.* Ability to accurately follow procedures.* Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and develop technical skills.* Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.* Ability to comply with company, state, and federal safety regulations.* Ability to climb ladders, lift at least 50 pounds, perform elevated work, and work in all weather conditions.*The Evonik Group adopts an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) approach.
