Banquet Steward

This is a posting for a Full-Time Banquet Steward at the Grand Hyatt Denver. A Banquet Steward is primarily responsible for helping in the kitchen to plate banquet food and transport food and hot boxes to the appropriate event room. This person will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all hotel china, glass, silverware, cookware and food preparation areas. Must demonstrate good English verbal and written communication skills. Previous food service experience preferred. This position requires the ability to stand or walk for long periods of time, and the ability to lift, push and carry moderate to heavy amounts of weight.Candidates must have open availability to work a variety of morning, mid and evening shifts. Candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays.
