Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac StepdownWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Cardiac Stepdown unit. The focus of this role is to provide high-quality patient care to individuals with cardiac conditions, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout their treatment journey.Unit DetailsNumber of Beds: 30Patient Ratios: 1:6Equipment Used: GE telemetry and Rover, portable WOWs, Welch-Allen VS machineDocumentation System: MeditechResponsibilitiesAdministering medications and treatments as per the physician's orders.Monitoring and assessing patient conditions, particularly in terms of cardiac health.Providing support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and expectations.Utilizing telemetry to monitor patients' cardiac status and conduct EKG rhythm identification.Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.QualificationsCurrent RN license.BLS and ACLS certification required.Experience in med-surg nursing with a strong understanding of cardiac medications and drips.Proficiency in EKG rhythm identification.Familiarity with Meditech documentation system is preferred.Shifts & SchedulingThe position requires three full 12-hour shifts along with 3-4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period.
