Software Tester

Our client, a leading company in the bakery industry, is seeking a dedicated Software Tester to join their team. As a Software Tester, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the development and maintenance of innovative customer-facing technology systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Software Tester

Location: Anoka, MN (100% on-site)

Position Type: 6-8 Month Contract with potential for extension

Pay Rate : $22.00/hour

Shift:  Monday - Friday; 8:00AM - 5:00PM

What's the Job?

• Conduct functional testing of all customer-facing technology, including Photocake® printers and applications.
• Create and execute test plans, perform website and software testing, and develop technical documentation.
• Collaborate with development and engineering teams to resolve technical issues promptly.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
• Support training initiatives for internal and external customers through webinars and content creation.

What's Needed?

• Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in manual software and hardware testing, user acceptance testing, or quality assurance roles.
• Experience executing and maintaining manual test scripts and familiarity with defect tracking tools like Jira.
• Basic understanding of SDLC and quality assurance methodologies.
• Experience testing applications on Android, iOS, and web browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and IE.
