You’ll be stepping into a vital role by taking over a retiring TVI’s caseload. Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Texas teaching licensure with TVI certification or eligibility
• Prior experience or passion for working with students who are visually impaired (school-based experience preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently and onsite
• Ability to adapt to district policies and varying student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver vision services for students based on individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct instruction and consultation for visually impaired students
• Collaborate with teachers and school teams for inclusive classroom strategies
• Conduct assessments and monitor student progress
