Unit Specifics

• Number of Beds: 33
• Patient Ratios: 6:1 days, 7:1 nights
• Unit Staffing: 3 techs per shift; Unit secretary available on dayshift
• Type of Equipment: IVs, Kangaroo pumps, SCDs
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Floating Policy: May float to other appropriate areas as needed

Scheduling Requirements

• Every other weekend required

Patient Experience Requirements

Ensuring a high-quality patient experience is paramount, with emphasis on compassionate care and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Must have: Current RN license, BLS certification
• Advanced Skills Needed: Proficient in Meditech documentation and care of Med/Surg patients
• Procedures Performed on Unit: Various Med/Surg care procedures
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS preferred
