Job Description

Under the direct supervision of a Project Manager, design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and data engineering solutions for enterprise-level systems. Analyze complex business and technical requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications and system architecture. Design and develop end-to-end ETL/ELT data pipelines for high-volume data processing, integration, and migration across on-premises and cloud platforms. Build and optimize data warehouse solutions utilizing dimensional modeling concepts including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD), and Fact and Dimension tables. Develop and deploy microservices-based applications and event-driven, real-time data streaming pipelines. Lead legacy system modernization initiatives by re-platforming monolithic applications to cloud-native architectures. Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes across multiple environments. Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to ensure system reliability and SLA compliance. Prepare technical documentation including application design documents, unit test cases, and deployment plans. Experience must include: Java, J2EE, XML, Jenkins, Hadoop, Hive, Mongo DB, DataStage, Quality Stage, Oracle, Junit, Kafka.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, CIS, Information Technology, Engineering (Any), or a closely related field with 1 year of relevant IT experience in job offered or as a Computer / Engineering Professional or related. Any suitable combination of education, training & experience is acceptable. Must be willing to work anywhere in the U.S. Job locations in Morristown, NJ & may involve relocation to various unanticipated client sites across the U.S.
